We were CLE walking around after an Indians game and happened upon Chinato. What good fortune. We checked out the menu on OpenTable, looked promising! We were not disappointed. Having just returned from Italy, I can say this food is on par or better than some of the thing we experienced in Italy. You can order some of the entrees... More

Went for a light, late night dinnet at Chinato. I have bEen there for lunch and was never really impressed. The arugula salad, ravioli and great service changed that. The ravioli was so outstanding, we will definitely be back - it was light, flavorful and the portion size was perfect.

The service was very good and the food was worth the visit. The atmosphere was romantic, however we were surprised at the level of sound -very noisy. We could clearly hear conversations from several tables away but we had trouble hearing each other across our own table. If they could fix the acoustics, this place would be five stars across... My wife and I were in for the evening to attend an Indian's game and wanted to eat at a nice restaurant within walking distance of Progressive Field. I did a search on tripadvisor by ranking and located Chinato. Although the menu was a bit pricy we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The service was... More

We had a great experience here last week. The food was good and what impressed us more was that they were so flexible. My wife is both gluten and dairy intolerant and the wait staff together with the chef were able to make a number of recommendations and adjust some menu items with substitutes to make items work. Once the... More

Our first visit to this local restaurant, and what a great experience. We were greeted and immediately seated - we chose the bar section - with comfortable booths. Our server, Evan, greeted us in a friendly manner - and was attentive and informative, but not overbearing. The onion soup was full of flavor, an the special soup of the day... More

Although I am often nervous about eating Italian out of our area the food here was really wonderful. They offered the option of appetizer portions for pasta dishes which worked out for me because the salad was delicious, causing me to eat it all. My teens loved their meals, as did my hubby. Our waiter (really the entire staff) was... More

Brought a client from out of town to Chinato on a Wednesday evening. I wanted to take her to one of Cleveland's best chef's, Zack Bruell, and we were not disappointed. We were fortunate to have the Independent Restaurants' Week menu to order from and 2 of us order a 3 course meal. I started with an apple, celery and... More
