What a lovely pub, wine better priced by the bottle but great choice, Service from staff excellent, cant wait to spend summer days in their garden

Town centre pub nice for a quick drink and a bowl of chips but not a lot more. I previously visited for sunday roast for a large family party and was disappointed.

Good location , good staff, bit average really as far as decor and style concerned. Better in the Summer!

we went along to try the pub quiz on Wednesday night & stopped off for some dinner while we were there. The food is reasonably priced and well cooked from a varied menu. We had a real laugh doing the quiz & will definately be back again in the near future.

we had a large party for my sons 21st birthday at the Riverside Inn, several dinners as a couple, and our Christmas day meal that was just to so excellant, could not fault the food, the staff and the whole experience, and they also do excellant deals also , great place, even better in the summer.

Great pub, lovely garden, good drinks range, if not a little on expensive side, but great late night place midweek for a chill out

I was slightly apprehensive going there after reading some of the reviews, but it was enjoyable. The staff was very friendly. The place looked great, esp. a chill out zone outside, and the food did not disappoint. My/Our regular lunchtime haunt for escape from the office once a week. Alcohol is pricey but being lunchtime visits from work this does not overly worry me/us, the bar food is lovely and the staff are incredibly friendly. Will continue to use as the lunchtime local for the foreseeable future.

We made a point of visiting this Pub, being only a slight distance from the city centre. They had a BQQ going in the beer garden which I gather occurs every Saturday throughout summer. We had two pints of Doom Bar ale and a half pint of Coke which came to around £9.60 which we thought was a bit pricey... More
