Our group of friends who go out for Sunday lunch every weekend visited this place 29/09/2013 and scored it 67% over ten criteria. The staff are excellent.
Ate here last night, party of 30 in restaurant, bar area very quiet. Service pretty quick. Couldn't complain at all, meal was superb and we didn't wait very long to be served our meal. Had chicken with haggis and black pudding croquettes with tatties and neeps (for the uninitiated -potatoes and turnip mashed together). Delicious fluffy mash (no lumps) and... More

I have been here twice - once with my sister and later by myself. Both times, the welcome has been warm and friendly. The tables are clean and non-sticky (so easy when the tables are wooden). Fast service, although I did notice that the bar staff also cover the bookings for the B&B side of the business. Decent parking, with... More
We come here fairly regularly and the welcome is always friendly. Choice of food is varied and always freshly cooked. Been for lunch and also evening meals and never been disappointed.
