We ate here 2 times. Food is awesome. Portions are more than anyone would ever want. Service was the best I have had anywhere. Will go back again and again.
We went here on the recommendation of a friend and a had very enjoyable meal. The place has a "fishing lodge" atmosphere with a 12' tall Kodiak bear greeting you at the door. The walls are mounted with a wide array of wildlife, canoes, etc. The wait was not too long, considering the line ahead of us, and we were... More
Cool atmosphere, great service, huge portions = you can't go wrong! The fried oysters were amazing and they have a few local beers that pair well.
We eat at Trapper's every time we're in OKC and we usually don't have any complaints, but this time was different. The food was as tasty as it always has been, but the server was so pushy that we didn't enjoy our experience. He tried to sell us the most expensive items on the menu and his timing was terrible.... Service was excellent, food even better. The alligator appetizer was prepared perfectly, just lightly blackened. The seared Ahi Tuna melted in my mouth. Seared very rare and served with red beans and rice and the squash rockefeller is not to miss, 5 stars...
Must order the Crab Dip the best we also enjoyed the oysters . My husband had catfish said it was great I had the fried shrimp it was good
Not the first cuisine that comes to mind when you think of Oklahoma City. We had lunch there, I had the fish po boy, my compatriots, the oyster po boy. All were cooked well with lots of flavor. Service was good and friendly. Décor is rustic with a lot of equipment and country items on the walls. A little pricey,... More
My husband and I decided to splurge and celebrate a life goal being accomplished. I had been to Trapper's once with my ten year old son, a mom son date night, and knew it was my husband's kind of place. Lot's of animals, trapping equipment on the wall, that sort of thing. My ten year old was enthralled when I... More
This is one of the better options in the area. Service was prompt and friendly. The prices are reasonable. There are plenty of options beyond Cajun. Relaxed atmosphere.
Look forward to stopping here every time I get to Oklahoma City. Great selection of seafood, fun ambiance and good service. The restaurant itself is very casual offering many Cajun style dishes. The portions are very large. I always try to split an entree 'cause it's just too much food for one person.
