This place is cool. It's small, out of the way, and awesome! The servers are lovely Mexican gals and they have it down. Everything I have every had there has been amazing. My fav..... Huevos rancheros.

Being from south Texas I am pretty picky about my Mexican food. We used to joke about the best places being the sketch Mexican restaurants in old bus stations. El Rio Verde is like a taste of home. The menu has a large selection of dishes that will please anybody. The restaurant has been busy every time I have gone...

Yes, the location might seem a bit iffy, although with some of the old buildings just to the north and east of the restaurant being gone, that hard industrial edge is softened.
I love El Rio Verde. Period. I've written, and spoken, before about food experiences being life changing. My first time here, over eleven years ago, was definitely that....

Don't be deceived by the outside and the neighborhood. The food here is absolutely fantastic. Inside of the restaurant is small, but very clean. We were sat quickly. The server was friendly. The food came out so fast. The guacamole is to die for. I had the wet burrito.... just awesome. I was told the enchiladas were great as well....

One could certainly make that argument, although there is certainly a lot of competition. Famous for its huge wet burritos, this place has amazing fish tacos, Mexican "street" tacos of all kinds, great fresh guacamole and wonderful seafood cocktails. We recently went to El Rio Verde with some friends for dinner. This place is always busy and especially on Friday nights. We arrive at 615 and not any too soon. We got a booth and although it was busy, no one had to wait very long for a table.
The cuisine was delicious as always. My wife had the...

Their El Pastor wet burrito has zero competition in Tulsa, OK. This is perfection, but I secretly hope that you never venture out of your comfort zone to try it so that I do not have as long of a wait.
Everything was delicious! We shared steak fajitas and with the chips and salsa it was plenty of food. Our bill was $14 and change with one beverage. The salsa and pico de gallo was very homemade tasting. Loved it. We will be back.
What a great little place. The food and service was beyond my expectations. But mostly the price. There is nothing fancy here, just great food and service.
