We visited the pancake house yesterday for breakfast. We had the special apple pancake with a cinnamon and sugar glaze, buckwheat pancakes and for my partner a vegetarian omelette and buttermilk pancakes. It was good, both the apple pancake and the omelette were huge. I didn't like the buckwheat pancakes too much, cause I'd expected smth chewier, but the apple... More

This is hands down the best place for breakfast in Eugene. If it is a game day for the University, it is a good idea to go early or plan on waiting 10 or 15 min. for a table. My wife and I usually have an omlet and it comes with 3 small pancakes. We order another small side of... More

We love the Original Pancake House restaurants. The food is always very good. The prices are a little on the high side and I would describe the service as efficient but not overly friendly. I ordered the Original Joe which was outstanding and my husbands banana pancakes were exceptional.

The place was packed when we went, and with good reason. The food is terrific, especially the Dutch Baby pancake. It was very good with the lingonberries. Like others have said, the service is very good, especially considering the hectic nature of the crowd. It is convenient if you are staying at the Campus Inn or are going into the... More

Service was excellent and attentive. A very well run business. While waiting for our meals, I noticed that everyone on staff did whatever was needed, a busboy took over at the check stand while the hostess was seating customers. I tried Swedish pancakes with lingonberries for the first time. Excellent. The side of bacon was crispy and very flavorful. My... More

Breakfasts were substantial and tasty, and service was quick, friendly, and efficient. Not gourmet, but good American fare.

First, the service was good. Ate there on a very busy Sunday around noon and was seated quickly. The menu as more options than you could wish for making the choice to go with an omelet tough. Green chile omelet was great. Not too oily or too much cheese to make it overwhelming. Meal also came with pancakes, that at... More

The place was not busy so the service was quick and friendly. Lots of choices on the menu. Coffee was good. The Swedish pancakes were really good but a bit cool upon arrival. Loganberry sauce was OK…I’ve had better. Hubby had breakfast his way, hamburger with 3 eggs over easy with no problem ordering something not on the menu and... More

We love breakfast all day and this was the place to go during a quick trip to Eugene. Kind of outside the main on a busy highway, so we approached it with trepidation. Until we saw the packed parking lot. It was pretty busy but only one party ahead of us. We were seated pretty quickly in a not so... More

OHOP has the best casual breakfast in Eugene. Their Dutch Baby baked pancake (which was invented at their Portland store) is incredible. The campus location is incredibly popular. This would be the first place I'd recommed to anyone visiting town. The reason I'm only giving them 4/5 is because of the slowness of the service and wait-time for a table,... More
