We had great service, friendly staff when we visited. It was a week night and not many (if any) people in the restaurant. The staff goofed off a bit, but we didn't mind. Our food tasted fabulous and the prices were good as well.

We ate at the Crazy Pepper after arriving in Hood River based on a pick from the phone book. We were not disappointed! We were immediately seated upon arrival. We had drinks within a few minutes and our waiter was very helpful in suggestions from the menu. The junior waiter kept the drinks/chips filled untill the food arrived. I ordered... More

I had a really great shrimp (actually prawn) salad today and my husband had Quesadillas. Our waitress, Tammy, was great - very efficient and fun. This was our second visit and everything was excellent again. Their Flan is fabulous according to my husband. Very wecoming restaurant - both atmosphere and staff.

It has been a while since our last visit. The food was GREAT. I ordered the Camarones Rancheros, so pleasantly surprised! Don't be afraid of the "heat" factor, with a margarita its just fine. Shrimp and peppers were grilled to perfection, so amazing! Margaritas with fresh lime juice!! Wait staff was very pleasant. Thank you for a nice evening out!

Great service, food, atmosphere. We had Carne Asada & Pork Enchiladas--- very good. The chips were light & thin with 3 separate salsas of varying heat. Try it you'll like it!

The Crazy Pepper has a great location, right off the main downtown shopping area. We were seated quickly in a nice dining room that seemed clean and not too noisy. Chips and salsa came right away. I had a beef tostada/cheese enchilada combo plate with refrieds and rice, and my wife had an enchilada/rellano platter with black beans. They were... More

What you'd expect in your average strip-mall Mexican restaurant. Comfort food, lots of cheese, friendly service.

By reading the reviews, we weren't sure what to make of this place, but decided to try it anyway, while visiting Hood River. Pleasant dining room, quiet, and good atmosphere. Our waiter was quick to seat us and take our drink order - blackberry margarita's. The menu is quite large - many good choices. I thought their food was very... More

Crazy Pepper is a cute restaraunt that is clean and perfect for meeting up with girlfriends for a margarita or two. The food? Mediocre at best. I don't think anything is made from scratch... very bland. Good atmosphere though.

We decided on Mexican for no particular reason, but with the easy on/off from I-82 it worked just fine. This establishment has nice Mexican-theme decorations throughout. We were quickly seated and the server arrived in almost no time even though she was working the room by herself - it was around 5:00 p.m. when we got there. There were others... More
