Grabbed baked goods more than once from here. The breads were outstanding. Some of the baked sweets were excellent and some were okay. Overall a very good place to get baked goods
On our way to the Air and Space Museum outside McMinnville, we stopped in town to find a place to eat. Having been blown off by a supercilious host in a well-known spot, we walked down the street hoping to find something acceptable. Thus we happened on the Red Fox Bakery. There we (party of 4) ordered sandwiches and drinks... More
Very quaint and cute little bakery / lunchroom. Unpretentious, relaxed, and friendly. Turkey sandwich was good; bread was fresh, price / value could be improved (e.g. more value / less price). They recently raised their sandwich prices, as evidenced by the "write over" prices on the chalkboard menu hanging on the wall, and had not fully erased the prior prices... More
Bought bread everyday for picnics and snacks, both from the grocery and from the store. Fresh and delicious!!
I had a great meal and my wife also. I had the BBQ brisket on a roll which was quite good. I should have gotten what my wife got. She had the BLT which looked even better. I was quite enviousness. I would have given a rating of 5 but, it did take a little bit more time than expected... More
We used this place for breakfast a couple of times on our trip to McMinnville---lovely, lovely pastries---croissants, galettes, and eclairs....I wish I could have tried them all! very good value for what you get. Coffee was decent. It was a very mellow place and the service at the counter impeccable. There is a five dollar requirement on a credit card... More
I ordered a croissant, though it was really tasty, it wasn't what you would expect a croissant to taste like. The sourdough is what you'd expect. Chewy and delicious!!!
and wished they were open for dinner. Great sandwich, great bread, very reasonable prices, and a fantastic bonus -- a huge macaroon cookie. If we hadn't been staying at A'Tuscan Estate where the breakfasts are fantastic, we might have meandered down to the Red Fox for breakfast. The staff is very friendly and it's a down home kind of place... More
yummy, how lucky were we to find this small, open to the public, bakery open on mother's day..we had a coffee drink, lucious, and a small pastry to go. salted carmel, and chocolate tart to have after dinner. right, ..we had it in the car, about 3 pm..after a wine tasting. i am suprized that it lasted that long. the... Do not get a fresh loath of bread and expect to make it home in one piece. The raisin bread is the best ever. Try anything when it is warm and you will not regret it. This place is the best bakery outside of Portland.
