4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 May 2013 NEW

We first came across Nana's while exploring the Nye Beach area last fall, enjoyed our meal and decided to come back during our recent visit to Newport. We started off with a Guinness (yes, it had a shamrock on top despite what a previous reviewer said) and a Strongbow cider followed by the steak & Guinness pie for him and... More

The reuben was perfectly tender and tasted amazing. With a guiness that was perfect. The chicken sandwich had REAL bacon on it and the chicken wasn't so big that it slid out. With a Harp beer with that it was perfect. DEFINATELY GOING AGAIN!!!

I took my father-in-law in for lunch and a pint of ale. I am a Reuben critic and this was the best one I've had since the early 80's in NYC. He had a burger and he was equally impressed. Good selection of draft beers. The had a good variety representing various styles. Lots of bottled beers but I prefer... More

Excellent atmosphere, excellent food, great choice of brews and drinks, and outstanding service. Bridget's Pot Pie is the best, friends had the Shepard Pie and raved, also the fish and chips. Leave room for desert IF you can!

The pot pies are good too. A cozy little place, a little noisy (it IS a pub), and a tad on the cool side. Great place to stop for a lunch when you're in Nye Beach

This is place to stop in for a pint, dram and/or pub food. My wife likes the food and love the whiskey so all is well. The live music is always good.

Nana's feels like the pubs in Dublin we visited. Atmosphere is great. Beer is great. Food is better. After sampling Reubens all over the US... this is simply the best. Their traditional Irish breakfast is also worth the stop. We eat there every time we visit Newport... can't help ourselves! :-)

We have a home in Pacific City and we travel down the coast frequently. I've seen Nana's Irish Pub and have always wanted to stop there. Sunday afternoon my wife and I dropped in for lunch. It was a wonderful experience in every respect including Layton, our server, who rates a six on a scale of one to five. We... More

Second visit to Nana's. Great draught beers ($3.50 between 3 & 6 M-F). Salmon spread and crackers just right. Meatloaf: excellent mashed potatoes, wonderful gravy, meatloaf seasoned with secret stuff (we asked; nobody's talking). Also corned beef w/cabbage+. Meat lean and tender. Perfect for a rainy day early dinner. Excellent service; all questions received and answered. Pub atmosphere, but OK... More

From the moment we stepped in the door, we felt like we were back in Ireland. The Irish music, the menu with its chicken pie, the perfectly poured Guinness... This is a friendly gathering place with good food and great atmosphere.
