Recently, I had a meal at Table of Contents in Nye Beach. They recently brought on a new chef, and she is dynamite. This is an interesting meal. Seating ad dining is family style, and a 4 course, price fixe menu. The atmosphere is friendly, and down home. If your home was a Victorian Style Literary themed B and B... More

I already can't wait to go back here again!! Our evening started with a view of the most beautiful sunset. My boyfriend and I were seated at a table with three other couples. Two of them had been there before so they knew the drill with the game. The third couple were the parents of the restaurant chef and were... More

The amazing food provided at the restaurant is only rivaled by the fun of the social atmosphere. Guests are served "family-style" at large tables (~8 people) and the game "2 Truths & a Lie" is used as an ice-breaker to get to know your fellow diners. It's especially fun when staying at the hotel because you will then feel as... More

Each of us in our party of four enjoyed the flavorful and well prepared food. We had more than enough to eat and the service was good. The atmosphere is a bit funky and the dessert was average, but overall, it was a memorable experience. I think that kids were not fit in very well.

We loved eating here. We got a 4 course meal for two for $47, the food was very good but the whole meal was enhanced by the wonderful atmosphere. The meals are served family style at tables of six, the hosts encourage conversation at the table by offering a game to play. You can choose to play or not. We... More

I read about 'The Game' that is played at the Tables of Content by the 6-8 guests that sit together, and I convinced my wife that it could be fun. She was totally onboard when we took our seats and we had a panoramic view of the ocean and the sunset. You have a choice of 4 entrees that have... More

Interesting meal in an old, historic hotel where each room is designed/named for an author. Readers love this old hotel and its dining room. Right on the ocean above Nye Beach and walking distance to shops/beach/galleries.

We have been staying at the Sylvia Beach Hotel. We thought we would try the dinner here. It was quirky, fun, and a great experience. It was also completely unique. Dinner was good. Had fresh Salmon which was good. Chef's style is more traditional than cutting edge. Kids liked it a lot.

Played the game w/ table of strangers. Bottle of wine helps. Only one server for 6 or 7 tables and a rather mature waitress at that. She was a really hard worker, and our tip reflected respect for her efforts. The food...The halibut w/mango salsa was excellent but the noodles had no flavor (no herbs/parsley/cheese just naked noodles). The vegs... More
