The sushii at Ami is made from the freshest ingredients. They brew their own soy sauce and their portions are huge. This is one of my favorite places to eat.

I love sushi and eat it in almost every city I go. I've been to Ami probably 5 times since we moved here and its always solid.
Fish has always been fresh and tasty.
Biggest gripe is the size. Usually people don't complain about getting too much food but sushi is different. The rolls are too big to eat with...

While the rolls are huge and the portions substantial, the quality is very good. Moved here from California and sushi has always been my favorite food. Was reluctant to try sushi in Roseburg, but once I did I am now hooked. My favorite restaurant by far in the county! The reviewer who alluded to the location as being not so...

Well, the portions were large enough, but the food quality was quite poor. Avoid the tempura, that's the first recommendation. The fish inside the greasy batter was over-cooked, and the calamari was inedible. Portions of the masago garnishing the dragon roll were actually brown. The smoked salmon tasted fishy, as if left to sit on the dock for a week...

The guys at AMI handle only the freshest fish available. The sushi rolls are more than generous in size. Prices are good. And for the non-sushi eater, there are a number of excellent dishes available for you. Try the Korean BBQ. Excellent.
I love to go here but the pocket book won't allow much, it's a bit spendy. Food and service is excellent.
You have not experienced a place like this anywhere!! reasonable prices on sushi and other foods.Try their rolls I had a 911 and it was the best !!!
We ordered to take awaynour sushi rolls and seaweed salad, 4 rolls served 3 people with enough for lunch the next day. Super fresh ingredients, great choice. Service was great, ready to collect on time. I haven't eaten in the restaurant but would like to try the eating in experience.
Some of the best sushi I have had...be aware the portions are larger than what you may be used to..a real gem.
Kind of a no-where place, almost so-so Japanese food, terrible Ami (American) food. I suspect the close by bars help them keep their doors open and a part of town you do not want to park in anyway.
