I have been driving past this diner for years and decided to try it out about a year ago. If you are craving a burger with fries and a milk shake this is a great place to stop in.
Vickie's sits at the foot of the Waldport Bridge as you come into town from the north. Parking and seating is limited, so avoid the noon crowd. The food was outstanding for a hamburger joint. Onion rings are made from real onions, and lettuce and tomato is incuded in the burgers. Not just pickles, ketchup... More
Vickie's Big Wheel was a nice surprise. It's a small, old fashioned diner style restaurant across the street from the Alsea Bridge Interpretive Center and visitor center. There are just a few tables inside and a small counter area with the menu up above so everyone can read it. Being by myself, I was able to find a counter seat... More
