I recently moved to this area and it was recommended to me to try Jim's. Once I got the salad that someone raved about. It was alright. Not great. The lettuce was soggy and the dressing was unremarkable. The next time I decided to try stuffed shells. They are Italian, right? The shells themselves were great, The sauce is too... More

I ate here a will back and did not know Jim's was on Tripadvisor or I would have commented sooner. It is not that good. I am local and do not go there anymore. There pasta sauce was as thin as tomato soup, the spaghetti was over cooked, the salad had a lot of water in it. You do get... More

Jim's is a small, family run restaurant with generous portions of very good food, with sandwiches and dinner sized salads also available. Jim, the owner, can usually be seen in the kitchen, and I think most of the wait staff is related somehow (daughters, neices, etc.) Best Spaghetti I've had anywhere. Usually we end up taking half of the salad... More

Restaurant is difficult to find - it's in an alley. The restaurant is very small and not much atmosphere. The food is OK, but nothing to write home about.

Jim's is one of those gems you want to keep for yourself and your friends. In fact, many locals give your "The Eye" if your from out of town and mention dining at Jim's. It is located on an alley above the Fire Company. Parking can be challenging for peak times, and a short walk may be in order- but... More

Jim's is in a alley way but don't let that fool you for good food. Excellent Italian dishes and I love the Chef Salad with the homemade dressing and their wonderful garlic bread. The owner spends his time in the kitchen right alongside the workers. Friendly atmosphere.

After living in Bellefonte for 20 years, we decided to try Jim's. Jim's had a fire in Feb '11, but reopened several months later. We thought that it was a good time to try it out. Keep in mind that I am 100% Italian. I grow my own tomatoes. I can my own puree for "gravy." I am very picky... More

Jims is our favorite eating spot! Small, noisey at time, excellent Italian cusine, timely service, a bit crowded at peak times, great eat-in or take-out. great value for the money, parking can be an issue at peak times but ample street parking is available with short walk. Probably the best Italian fare anywhere we have eaten. Highly recommend.
