Recently had a graduation celebration dinner at the Pine Barn Inn. The restaurant itself is very nice, staff friendly and the service was good, but was disappointed in the quality of the food. They offered a limited menu for the weekend entitled: Graduation Menu which I understand if the place was packed but it wasn't (at least not when we... More

Ate dinner here one night with four other adults. Dining room was pleasant and suitably upscale without being stuffy. Tables were well separated from each other and the noise level was very good. The waiter was congenial, knowledgeable of the menu and provided very good service. The kitchen accommodated a minor special request. Food came in a reasonable amount of... More

And perhaps it ought to take some time and re-evaluate. It wasn't bad, and the service was very, very good. But the food? Meh. My boyfriend and I split an order of vegetarian spring rolls that were slightly soggy, which generally means the fryers were set at too low of a temperature, which generally either means equipment problems or short... The atmosphere is genteel and quiet. Very appropriate for an eatery adjacent to a major trauma center. The Pine Barn Inn has been a fixture in Danville for many decades, and continues to evolve in a positive way.

While driving from Columbus, Ohio to Connecticut, we stopped in Danville, PA for the night. It was almost 9 PM and the hotel staff recommended the Pine Barn Inn. We arrived and the restaurant was almost empty as one might expect at that time on a Monday night. No problem. We were greeted warmly and brought to a table. The... More

I worked in Danville and we would frequently order from here. It was consistently good food. Food prices were good for the amount of food you receive.

Reminds me of the restaurants we we nt to after church growing up in the 50s and 60s...There is nothing hip about this place. But for a relatively quiet dinner with good food in generous portions, this is the place. The menu is huge and has something for everyone. And having the nutritional info on the menu is great. Prices... More

Hampton Inn recommended Pine Barn Inn. Delicious food, comfortable atmosphere, attentive serving staff. Parking was a bit of a challenge, especially for the disabled, because Pine Barn Inn was obviously a popular place to dine.

The Faith Salad was excellent. I had a side salad size and ordered the salmon in the light lemon w/capers. Outstanding service and food.

I took my parents out to breakfast here when they were in town visiting. This is a great place to eat. Beware that on Sunday mornings there may be a wait for a table. Call ahead and make reservations. The food was pretty good. This is definaltley as high class as you can find in Danville.
