Had wonderful lunch during recent trip to Charlestown, good choice of fresh fish dishes on specials board as well as good choice on main menu, I had amazing cod and crab thermadore which would have fed a family but too nice to share! Great little restaurant in fantastic location, helpful and attentive staff. Highly recommended and will certainly visit again

We just popped in for an early evening meal with our two girls (aged 3 and 2) and had a fantastic time. The staff were brilliant and the food was superb....best children's meals we have had (obviously we had to share them to be sure!) and our meals were also great - fresh fish with too many meals to choose... Came here over the Easter bank holiday, called in to book a table for an hour later as we fancied a stroll around Charlestown harbour first, the said call back in an hour not a problem they reserved our table of 6 for us. Staff were very friendly and efficient the meal was excellent , we will be back !

Location was excellent and the food was fresh and you could tell it by the taste . My wife had Moules Marinere which was the best she had tasted and I had their famous Cod and Chips in Beer Batter absolutely fabulous

Food fantastic, can't fault it. But on 2 seperate occassions we were the only guests and the staff started cleaning up and parking up before we had finished. It wasn't even 10pm, this ruined what would have been a lovely meal. As it had happened twice its put me off visiting again.

Our table of 6 was right next to the back door by the decking on a sunny but very blowy evening. When the door opened magically on its own several times and I closed it several times, I asked one of the waitresses to lock it. "Oh we lost the key ages ago and don't have another one so it's... More

We popped into this place for tea. It was 6pm. One of the tables was occupied. We asked if we could take tea here, and were told, "We don't have any tables - you'll have to sit outside." See pic attached to this review to see just how ludicrous this statement was. Still, we were thirsty. We drank the tea... More

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your visit Wreckers. However to be fair, dropping in for Tea to a Restaurant about to serve Dinner isn't the best of plans. We are often criticised for not offering empty tables to customers, but if that table is booked within the next hour we simply cannot let it go. We are very busy and... More

Great weather in early May so we ate outside with views of the harbour and the tall ships. The service was impeccable and the seafood chowder the best this side of the Atlantic! Well done Wreckers.

Oh dear, sadly Wreckers seems to be losing the plot again and what used to be a restaurant where high standards and food quality were the norm it appears to be slipping back into the distinctly average category. It is difficult to put a finger on exactly what is missing as the staff are cheerful and the prices reasonable, but... More

Can't fault this restaurant. Went on a Saturday evening. Friendly, informal staff, really good fish and the vegetables were just right, nice and crisp, obviously cooked separately for each serving.
