The food tasted excellent, however the gluten-free options can't be trusted. I have a gluten allergy (celiac disease) and the gluten-free labelled meals have given me great troubles. Service was only mediocre.

We found Twisted Sista whilst wandering Byron looking for Food. The cabinet food looked great so we sat down. The lunch meals we ordered were a good size, were absolutely delicious and the coffee was good too.
The Cons-
Unfortunately, the service was terrible, with a rude waitress delivering our food, we had asked for takeaway coffee so when it...

Great location, and the service time was not immediate but friendly.
The omelettes were fabulous!
The Eggs Bennie - not so great :-( Eggs a little under-done, Hollandaise sauce... different, with seeded mustard or something in it.. and only bacon or smoked salmon - not ham.
The ham & tomato croissants HUGE.
Coffee really good. Fairly pricey, with no eftpos...

The breakfast was beautiful and you could tell they had used fresh produce. We were there for a post wedding breakfast but if you are part of a large group wanting breakfast together, you may need to eat elsewhere or if your ok with all sitting in small groups of 4-6 then give Twisted Sista a try.
I must admit we only stopped for morning tea but I was totally bowled over by the absolutely delicious raspberry & pear muffins, that I had to share! Cappuccinos were good too!!
This place had a great range of sandwiches and quiches when we stopped in for lunch. The service was a bit disappointing and the food is very over priced..tourist town prices! The smoothies were delicious but again over priced. CASH ONLY
Maybe it was because it was late afternoon and they were preparing to close up but the experience we had here did not match the good experiences of others.
We stopped in for an iced coffee, a milkshake and cake. The drinks were awful - the milk not cold, the fake cream piled on top tasted off, the coffee itself...

We headed out early from Southport, QLD to grab breakfast in Byron Bay. Our host Bob suggested the Twisted Sista Cafe and told us it was worth the drive in spite of our grumbling tummies. He was right, of course, and we enjoyed the experience. The fresh-baked banana nut bread with honey maple butter started us out and I would...

My partner and i stumbled apon the gem whilst looking for somewhere for breakfast. Friendly service and exceptional food. Reasonable prices and fabulous looking cakes however did not have room to sample one. My partner had the big breakfast which he could not get through despite the amazing taste. I had bacon and eggs with tomatoes. The tomatoes were absolutely...

My husband is a total lover of exceptionally good Cakes ! He knows what's good, and he will drive long distances to experience great 'coffee & cake'. When we visit Twisted Sista, we usually have lunch, (one of their wonderful healthy, stacks or slices/salad) and then comes the BIG decision as to which Cake.. sometimes, if we can't decide we...
