Not a problem. Cheerful staff offered to get (13) us a large table with about 5-10 minutes, and they did, and checked with us twice while waiting. Good coffee, attentive servers, great assortment of breakfast treats...everyone was happy. Pancakes, corned beef hash, chorizo, eggs,...all got high marks. A stop we had to make while visiting w local college graduate!, and...

The pancakes are crepe thin and oh so yummy! Lots of great old shots of Pittsburgh too. We had to wait about ten minutes for a table, but it was well worth it.
Barack and Michelle were so impressed with Pamela's hotcakes that they invited the proprietors of this funky Pittsburgh chain to the White House to cook breakfast. The strawberry hotcakes and the lyonnaise potatoes are the house specialities that you MUST try. Each Pamela's is different. The one in Millvale is particularly amusing. But the hotcakes are always to die for....

I love having brunch at Pamela's. Important things: cash only, there's usually a fairly long wait, DELICIOUS. Their stuffed hotcakes are great. I also really enjoy the egg dishes. Their hash-browns are to die for! Expect to leave very full, and very happy.
Excellent crepe/hotcakes and omelet. Atmosphere was fun. Service was very good and quick. Menu was varied.

I ordered the veggie omelette, which came with potatoes lyonnaise and toast. The omelette was good, and the potatoes were fantastic. Service was excellent and...

We stopped in late on a Friday morning and sat right down. Great hotcakes and french toast. A fun place for breakfast!
The pancakes (more like crepes) are a local institution. Delicious! Splurge and order the specialty ones: chocolate chip with whipped cream and sliced bananas are sinfully good. The Tex-mex omelet with chorizo, salsa, and guacamole is my favorite. Enjoy!
Pamela's is a MUST for anyone traveling to Pittsburgh. Their crepe-style pancakes are to die for and dining in their cafe is a true Pittsburgh experience. Be advised - they only take cash! There are ATMs nearby, but don't walk in thinking a credit card will work! (Trust me - it is worth the possible ATM fees to draw cash...
