The food is average at best. The sangria is not very good. The atmosphere is however, very nice. Perhaps if you just sat there and didn't eat that would be better. Go to Teresa Next Door, which actually is next almost next door for much better food.

The food was average but there were food smears on the bottom of two of the "clean' plates on our table and the wc had one of those pinkish-red bacteria rings (nope, not rust) that indicated lack of regular cleaning. Tried not to think of what the kitchen looked like.

Thought the tapas was fair. The suckling pork was excellent but pricey. Drinks were very pricy. Service was ver good. Overall fair buy pretty expensive.

Ok Mexian food. The guacamole was very good but needed more lemon. Drinks were good but overpriced. Seating can be cramped. Service was iffy.

Nice addition to the Mainline. Great tapas, rustic but nice decor, and fantastic flamenco show. Reasonable prices.

I'm a fan of tapas, but I've been to this place a few times and it's simply not very good. Certainly, no Spanish flair to the tapas. The draft beer has no head.

I went out with three friends after a movie last week and Christopher's was packed with a half hour wait so we decided to go right next door and try Matador though none of ys had ever eaten there. What a great surprise. We all loved the fresh salsa they put on the table to start. Two of them had... More

The food at Matador was excellent. We had four people in our party and we shared about 10 plates. Everything was excellent. We arrived for our 8pm reservation and the rather unfriendly hostess wanted us to sit at a table right near the front door at the bar. These tables are generally first come - first served. I would not... More
