As we often do when traveling, a Ruth's Chris in the area sends us to the phone for reservations. The restaurant at Mohegan Sun, Wilkes Barre, Pa. did not let us down. Food and service were excellent. I had surf and turf for $46, and the meal was superb. My other half needed special treatment, as her food intake is... More

We dine here about 6 times a year and always on Mother's Day (my choice). Having tried many different menu selections we are always pleased. A nice extra on Mother's Day was a $25.00 gift card to use at another time. Sometimes we just stop by the bar area and have an appetizer or bar menu item and that is... More

This place is THE best steak house. Pricey yes but for the quality of the food it is worth every dollar. We all had the Filets with the shoe string fries. Wow unbelievable. Melt in your mouth. The mushrooms and creamed spinach were excellent. Then to end the dinner we had cream brûlée again wow. Can't wait to go back... More

I have been to Ruth's Chris a few times now and I have to say, the one thing I learned is that you do not want to get a ribeye there, stick to the leaner meats! With the way they cook their meat, the fat stays too solid for my liking, and I love a rare ribeye. I had the... More

I have an expectation that the service in an expensive restaurant is top notch or at least very good. This restaurant failed. All staff we encountered seemed bored and wanted to be somewhere else. Bread was never offered so had to ask. Maybe this is a corporate policy? When served our steaks they never asked if cooked to our liking,... More

The food was fabulous. The service was very effective and attentive, but the prices are really on the high side for the area. I can understand the casino appeal and jacked prices as a result, but not worth $50 plus a plate. The wine mark-up is just wildly absurd. Would I go there again... No. WOuld I go to another... More

This is my third review of this Ruth Chris. I dine all over this country (and others) and this Ruth Chris is consistently the best food I have ever had - every time. Yes we all know its expensive so do we need to keep posting that? Does anyone go to Ruth Chris thinking I am looking for a cheap... More

The food was good. That's it - just good. Not worth $190 for two people. They are definitely selling the sizzle here, because the steak is just that - plain old steak. Recommend bringing a date here if they are impressed with high prices and don't know any better... like that the $40 bottle of wine is the same stuff... More

There is no denying the quality of the steak, but the prices are very high. I only go here when someone else is paying.

As other reviewers have noted, this restaurant, indeed, this chain, knows how to prepare a great steak. We ordered a medium-rare Ribeye and a medium Filet Mignon, and both were served sizzling on 500- degree plates. My Ribeye was tender and juicy. I had it with a glass of Argentinian Malbec. Wonderful. Loved the fresh hot bread that arrived soon... More
