Folks, this place is much more bar than restaurant. The food at best acceptable for a beach bar, but that is what it is. This is not a good place for families or children. The crowd, language, and atmosphere gets more adult only as the day goes on.

The new Ballard's couldn't have been a better place for the wedding I went to. The staff was so accomodating for anything the bride needed. The food was great and it's the only place you can really have a wedding ON the beach. I can't recomend them enough!

This is the place for meeting and greeting on Block Island. Most of RI socializing takes place here especially on major holiday weekends.
