We have been going to Campanella's for years as it has always been a good place to get a quick Italian dinner. However it seems that the quality of food is trending downwards. The veal parm was extremely overcooked and had more cheese on it then meat. On top of that, you only get a small piece of veal and... More

I have been to Campanella's many times and like it less and less every time. Many things go wrong. It's not just one time though, it's constant. I feel that many people think its amazing and give others the wrong impression. The Atmosphere: This restaurant gives me the impression of being very dirty. It is kind of boring. There are... More

Very nice place for a casual lunch or dinner. Greek style pizza is offered on a traditional crust, grilled thin crust or whole grain crust. The Greek salad is always nice and fresh. The "Stuffed Greek" is a spinach pie (on your choice of dough, try the whole grain) stuffed with a Greek salad, it sounds weird but it is... More

Salads are fresh, plentiful, and well garnished with tomato, onion, even carrot. Pizza and calzones are very good- the multi-grain dough is PHENOMINAL! Service always pleasant and efficient. Perhaps the best attribute is that the owners ( yes, the owners-not some corporate manager) are always in house, know almost everyone by name, and always make you feel welcome.

I usually go to Tomaselli's but was visiting and wanted a sit down Italian fare meal. The calzones are fair at best here and the rest of the menu is just not that good. It seems they have cut corners and not as good as they were years ago when they first opened. The service is almost like a breakfast... More

This is one of our usual go to places for take out but lately it seems to be going in the wrong direction. The calzones are still excellent, especially the spinach pie, but their salads have been wilted and the tomatoes past ripe. Very disappointed and hope that they turn back around.

We enjoyed a night of great calzones and delightful wine! This casual dining spot is nice retreat from the chain restaurants in the area. Great atmosphere and great food! Our server was great, she kept things moving even on a busy Friday night!

We were visitig RI from Ct. and drove by Campanella's and stopped for dinner. What a pleasant surprise. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and spotless. They were packed for a Monday nite! Big menu, prices great and the homemade bread was delicious. We ordered a gourmet thin pizza, mushrooms sauteed on garlic bread, Greek salads, and 2 pasta specials. Vodka... More

A few girlfriends and I went to Campanella's last Thursday night. We started with an appetizer of mushrooms, feta, and peppers served over garlic bread. It was fantastic! I ordered the eggplant parm for my entree and was surprised at how huge the portions were! I ate a little less than half of my meal and took the rest home... More

This is one of the only places in RI where I have found whole wheat and multi-grain calzones and pizzas. The food is fresh and plentiful, and the value is excellent. The service was very friendly and prompt, and I now recommend this place to friends all the time.
