My inlaws live literally a couple of hundred yards away.. When in a pinch to grab some decent sushi we stop by Haruki's. Good prices and fresh.

My favorite place to eat sushi because it's always made fresh and the tuna is good quality. Sushi rolls are perfectly made and don't fall apart when you try to eat them. The chefs at the sushi bar as well as all the staff are very friendly and the Scorpion bowls are great also :-)
I tried the crispy crab roll and it was delicious! I'm not a big sushi eater so I'm pretty picky. They have a large selection of cooked sushi. I also had the shrimp tempura dinner. It was okay. The atmosphere was warm and casual. The service wasn't consistent. There were about 4 other tables full on Sunday afternoon. I was...

I only trust the raw sushi here. It is very busy so there is a lot of turnover. There are several sushi chefs who are constantly prepping and cleaning. Everything we have eaten has been superb. We have been customers since the 1980s (before they moved to Oaklawn Avenue) and have never been disappointed.
This is one of my go-to places for sushi. It's casual, but it's nicely decorated and the food is always excellent. Lots of choices.
Whatever you order is always good. Lots of innovative choices---raw or cooked. The seaweed salad and tempura are the best.
We, (my wife and I) have been to Haruki's on dozens of occasions over the past several years. We tend to go with standard rolls, tempura vegetables, nigiri salmon, and miso soup. A specialty of theirs is Sesame Tuna, comes highly recommended. Service is always polite and professional, you will enjoy.

Today, many Japanese cuisine restaurants have opened up: Teppanyaki grills (usually wrongly called Hibachi grills), sushi joints, and more.
Haruki remains the standard bearer, however... so far no Japanese restaurant in the state seems to have come close...

Haruki definitely satisfied my sushi-craving palate. The building is not the newest, but the outside is inviting enough. My friends and I walk in and the first thing we notice is a fish tank holding some of the biggest goldfishes I've ever seen. Anyway, we get seated almost right away. The menu itself was huge. I opened the first page...

I love going to Haruki's because I know I'll always get a delicious, beautiful and healthy meal. The staff is always very friendly and the guys behind the sushi bar are brilliant at what they do. I always have the miso soup and garden salad with Haruki's special ginger dressing and then usually a couple cooked rolls. Spicy Scallop is...
