We decided to have lunch here as we were walking by and were attracted by the menu and character of the building. Fun vibe inside with exposed brick and cool light fixtures. My husband had one of their local beers, which was really good (peach-flavored, which is nice on a hot Charleston day). I had the mixed green salad with...

I took my fiancé here for his birthday and we loved it!! The shrimp corndogs were wonderful - we had grouper prepared differently and it was great - the location is easy too - I would go back
My wife and i went to eat here at the recommendation of a shopkeeper in Charleston. The hostess did not seem very friendly and inviting when she led us to our table. Our server finally came after about 15 minutes, apparently she was busy handling several tables all over the room. Everyone except the two hostesses seemed too busy to...

We picked this place because it had good reviews but wasn't one of the most popular restaurants in Charleston - we were looking for something under the radar. Our server was great (example: noticed my sparkling wine wasn't so sparkly and brought me a new glass). We LOVED our appetizers and liked our entrees. The exposed brick walls and oyster...

We stopped in for a late lunch and had a wonderful meal. Starting with some Gulf Coast and BC oysters, we moved on to an outstanding Caesar Salad with Tuna the fish taco and salmon salad both were first rate. Choice of fish and oysters change based on availability. Lively space in the historic district.
My husband and I went here with two friends who live part time in Charleston. We would highly recommend a visit. We all had a variety of fresh oysters, calamari with bacon and garlic aoili, fried green tomatoes and peel & eat scampi. All delicious and most worthy seafood. Service was friendly and knowledgeable without being intrusive. Very cool space...

This restaurant offered at least five kinds of fresh fish plus at least five ways of having it cooked. My husband chose blackened salmon and I chose broiled salmon. The salmon was Wild Alaskan Salmon and was outstanding. My dish came with quinoa with vegetables. My husband substituted rice and vegetables for whatever came with the .
My first impression...

We had a good dinner here and really good drinks. We walked in without a reservation, and ended up having to wait only 20-30 minutes, which I thought wasn't bad. We ended up spending several hours here and never felt rushed to go. We all had fish (different preparations), and oysters to start. Meals were pretty good and the restaurant...

We stumbled onto Amen Street when we were tired and need a fast lunch. The fried green tomato sandwich was perfectly seasoned and the roll itself was excellent. But it is the order of hush puppies I'll remember - a little spicy (in a very good way), hot and delicious! Wish I could have brought some home to Philadelphia.
