I had dinner at the Peninsula and it was absolutely wonderful. The ambience was beautiful, the service was outstanding and the duck was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed the coconut cake, which I thought was good, but not what I would consider extraordinary. I'm looking forward to returning!

Folks, based on the reviews, you can obviously have a fantastic dinner here. However, if your dinner dance card is already filled or you couldn't get a table here, do what we did. We had a fantastic dinner at one if Charleston's other restaurants but came to the bar for dessert and drinks. Get the coconut cake. Trust me.

We were able to snag a reservation at noon for dinner same night. Service was excellent, food was phenomenal, and the rooom was very nice. This is a special event place - don't miss the coconut cake!
