I drove 29 miles to California Dreaming to purchase a to go California Dreaming Salad. I paid $10.99 plus $1 tip. When I arrived back home with the salad I found 2/3 of the salad missing. Instead of getting the standard size salad I received a 1/3 portion in my to go order. I immediately called and asked to speak... More

Dear Mrs. B, Thank you for your feedback. Our Operating Partner, Brent Register, assured he met with you and cleared up the misunderstanding on the California Dreaming salad. When removing the cheese, it indeed does appear smaller. Thank you for your patronage, we look forward to serving you again soon. More

This is an old fort right on the river. Food was really good and lots of it, although it has a small menu. Service was so so, waited too long for the food.

Great place for family or couple, Delightful view of marina and Ashley River. A little bit difficult to find but worth the trip. Food is wonderful and service is very good. Call ahead helps if you don't want to wait on the weekend.

This restaurant is located just past the LaQuinta on Ashley Point Drive.... both are located at the Marina we walked to the restaurant from the hotel and it took all of 5 minutes with most the time watching the boats coming in and going out into the river way.... also while seated in the restaurant and waiting for lunch the... Some workers and I went to California Dreaming after work one evening for a few cocktails and some appetizers. We had excellent service from the bar staff, and really enjoyed the nachos and chicken tenders. It had been raining a bit that day, so the outside bar was not open, but the staff was nice enough to let us sit... More

We visited California Dreaming in Charleston, SC this past weekend for dinner and will definitely return. The building sits on the Ashley River, facing downtown Charleston - probably one of the best views of the city from their outside deck bar and giant windows inside their castle-like restaurant. We watched boats cruise by and some stopped to tie off at... More

The salad was the best part of the meal probably because we weren't seated until nearly 10pm and got there at 8,and were hungry, pime rib was big and looked great but had very little flavor. It wasn't terrible but at the time it wasn't worth the wait

We tried this restaurant on the first night of our trip to Charleston, SC. It is located just 2/10 of a mile from the hotel we were staying at. It is located adjacent to the Ripley Point Marina. The location is very pretty. We arrived at the restaurant on a Saturday night, with a lot of people waiting for a... More

In seventeen visits to Charleston over four years, we have probably visited this restaurant at least a dozen times. They consistently deliver very good food and generally very good service in spite of their large size and the traffic volume. Possibly the best she-crab soup we've had in Charleston. Beautiful views and a great location at the end of Ashley... More

Interesting location on the harbor.....quite an assortment of knicknacks. Excellent staff..very attentive and friendly. We had steak and fish. both meals were done perfectly and we shared a wonderful desert. I thought the prices were reasonable.
