We simply loved our meal at the OAK STEAKHOUSE !! Of course, we had steak and it was prepared as we asked and was tender and delicious. The service was also excellent . Certainly would go back when we revisit Charleston. Glad we didn't miss this wonderful restaurant !!!

Had a great personable waiter, artisanal cheese plate was great of all local cheeses. Ribeye perfect melt in your mouth, smoky cheddar mac and cheese delish. All good, relaxed atmosphere not too loud

I've had some good steak, but this is the best I've had to date. We also had a crab cake made largely of crab meat with little filler and lots of flavor. The cauliflower au-gratin was also a huge hit with us. Overall a very good experience and we will be back!

Recommended by the hotel staff. It was our anniversary and at first they put us on the third floor. Lovely small room - tablecloths, but there was a high chair awaiting a couple with a child next to us. I expect children at a family restaurant, but was not willing to chance a screaming child at an expensive, upscale restaurant.... More
