We had reservations at Pearlz for my daughter's birthday party. We had eaten there previously, and enjoyed their food, especially the oysters, and had made reservations several days in advance. Although our reservations were for 8:00, we waited and waited, and finally left at 8:35, as it was obvious we were not going to be seated. They apparently know how... More

Pretty decent food ! I would say above average for Columbia. I have fresh rainbow trout and it was very good. My wife had fish and chips and they were undercooked. Service was just ok. Overall satisfied though.

we visited during the Masters (I probably wouldn't have found myself in Columbia hadn't this been the site of our tour hotel) - all the action seems to be on Gervais and around which was convenient for us and the place swelled up in the evening with tourists and university students - good buzz, can get loud but nevertheless good... Pearlz on gervais April 22, 2013 7:53 pm For a Monday evening, this place fills up quick. Very hip bar; college crowd, I assume. If you have a hankering for oysters and clams and this place is good for it. I had the clams and oyster on the half for appetizers, they were delicious!!! No crab legs, this is NOT... More

I walked here from the Hilton a few blocks away. When I got there, it was before 5, and there were a few people eating at the bar. I ordered from the Happy Hour menu, peel & eat shrimp. They were colossal and properly cooked. Someone next to me had ordered oysters on the half. They looked awesome. Even the... More

The place was packed, the bartender literally said Masters week is their busiest week of the year. I sat at the bar and ordered the oysters, and cold draft IPA beer. Both were fabulous, and the service was just as good despite the people everywhere. The area is packed with fun places to eat and beer. Just park your car... More

First off, I LOVE OYSTERS! So I was super excited to try Pearlz while on vacation. We were there on a Friday afternoon about 5:30. We ordered the appetizer special Trigger bites, which were good, and a dozen steamed oysters. The appetizer came out in a reasonable amount of time and we were told numerous times that the oysters were... More

We went to Pearlz because my sister lives in Columbia, and she is a big fan. The food was good, but not great. It's fairly priced with a cool atmosphere.

We recommend the fish tacos (my wife prefers the mahi and I like the swordfish). The staff is friendly and prices are moderate. This is one of a growing chain of restaurants in the Southeast. Nearby sister restaurant Liberty also is very good.
