We ate here last year and was not happy with the food or service. It's no longer open and is being replaced by an Italian seafood restaurant, Coda del Pesce, and from what I hear, it should be great.

Confirmed this is definitely closed for good. A loss to this charming island community. We had heard great things but also that it was closed. Alas, the latter is true.
I was waiting to return to Hucks because we love the food. Sadly, I can confirm that it is closed for good. A new restaurant is going in there soon.
We had a very good lowcountry style meal there during a previous stay on Isle of Palms and were disappointed to find that it had closed.
Great menu with a great location. Nothing but good to say about this spot. The only down side? Reservations are usually needed. However you can sneak in and grab a meal at the bar to experience the great food without having to wait forever.

The best shrimp and grits ever. I wish I lived closer so I could frequent it. My next visit won't be the same if I can't eat at Hucks.

I've been coming here for the last couple of years. The food is always terrific. The ambience is cozy, warm, laid back, with a twist of jazzy class. The Shrimp and Grits is fantastic as is the Buttermilk Fried Chicken. Lunch on a Saturday is where you entertain your significant other, enjoying the view of the ocean over a cold...
