The owner is very personable and took the time to describe the menu items to me. The food I got (I'm sorry I've forgotten the name of it as it's been a little while since I've been, as I live a distance away) was very good. You can tell it's authentic and not out of a can or box. Some... More

Found this unassuming gem of a place courtesy of Trip Advisor. The Cuban food is authentic and tasty. The owner, Gaston, is quite entertaining. It is easy to miss, though, so you have to have a sharp eye to spot it. The decor is spare but cheerful and the outdoor backyard patio is cozy. Gaston was happy to explain the... More

My family and I finally got around to trying this place and it was amazing. Spartanburg has a very limited selection of restaurants, so it's nice to find a place that isn't a chain or a hot dog place. The restaurant itself is really cute with a nice sized outdoor area for such a small place, and the food was... More

Love, love, love this place!! Everything I have tried has been amazing and we eat here probably at least once a week! The service is awesome, the atmosphere is cute and the food is delicious! Our kids, (one's 5 and the other is 2) love to eat here too!

Our son attended Wofford College. Our first weekend there, we went exploring to see what was up around town. Out of the corner of her eye, my wife spotted a sign for a Cuban restaurant. Being that I'm Cuban, I said that, "this is South Carolina, I don't think there are any Cubans here." Boy was I wrong! Gaston, the... More

I recently ate here and the food wasn't bad, but wasn't great. I clearly heard a microwave being used in the kitchen and the food came to fast to be fresh. Some of my food was also so hot (the only kind of hot you get in a microwave). I was disappointed about that. When I go out I don't... More

My husband and I just recently moved to Spartanburg from a big city, and since we absolutely love trying new restaurants that aren't part of a big chain, we were thrilled that we found this delicious Caribbean gem in the area. The food was amazing and tasted like a home cooked meal. We had never tried Cuban food before, and... More

This is real good food served by folks who are the genuine article. No frills, simple menu, but everything is prepared fresh by the owner, Cuban native Gaston. Save room for a batido (Cuban shake)!

We stumbled across this little restaurant and have returned several times. The apparent owner is a warm and outgoing fellow. The dishes seem to be mostly Cuban and are all good. It is not fancy, but it is great place to discover some new tastes.

While on a roadtrip, we decided to pick the #1 restaurant on trip advisor to stop in and eat while driving through Spartanburg. We could not have made a better decision. To say the food was amazing is an understatement. This is the first authentic Cuban restaurant I have eaten at since I lived in Miami. We had a Cubano... More
