I've been to Hokie Smokie three times and have been very pleased on each visit. The meat has always been very flavorful and tender and they have a wide variety of sides. I particularly like their collard greens and baked beans. The Pecan cobbler is a must try.

Probably the best brisket in town. The sandwich is a must. I have tried several of their dishes and have always been very pleased with the food. The only issue i have here is the slow service at lunch time. Again the food is great and if you are not in a hurry then go for it.

Being a Hokie parent, I had to try the "hokie/smokie grill". I tried the briskets bites, dried out and way over cooked, needed the very good spicy bbq sauce to eat them. They have the best brisket in town. Burgers are awesome too. They sometimes serve other kinds of meat as well (Kangaroo, elk, etc). Keep up the good work.
