My husband and I brought a visitor from abroad to The Red Bank in Skerries for Sunday lunch yesterday and had a superb meal. We have eaten there several times previously and always have a wonderful time. On Sundays from 4pm - 7pm you can get a beautiful 4 course dinner for €26. The starters are excellent. I had delicious... More

The restaurant is located in a great location in the heart of skerries town with a short walk to the harbour which is really nice.from the very start on the night it all went so well as we were welcomed at the door by Terry himself, shown to a comfy pre drinks area were our coats were taken. we then... We have been to the Red Bank a few times and have always been impressed. You enter the restaurant through a portico of sorts and are brought into the cosy pre dining seating area. Your drink order is taken and your allowed to mull over the menu while you nibble on the deep fried potato skins that are served with... More

I stayed for one night only and didn't have dinner in The Red Bank. I will certainly stay there again though. My single room was very good value and breakfast was superb. I had haddock with potatoes and poached eggs and the quality was outstanding. I strongly recommend the Red Bank. Well done.

To ring at the bell, have your coat taken and a glass of wine while you warm up before going to your table maybe old fashion but it what I like and I will be going a lot ore often. After all that the food was good and the service was to the standard I had received when I rang... More

The seafood here is excellent, fresh and well prepared and there's a good variety. Some tables near the kitchen are to be avoided but if you sit in the main part it's fine. Value wise it's good if you go for early bird or one of their online deals which can include accommodation and breakfast (both excellent) but the a... More

I recently had a meal in the red bank to celebrate a family occasion. 8 of us sat down to dinner at a table that would fit better in a pub of the 70's rather than a high class place to dine. Food was like a step back to the late 80's at best. Service was good. But overall the... More

I stayed in the " Red Bank " for three nights and had a wonderful time. On arrival, I was welcomed by Alex and shown to my room, which was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Later ( on my first night ), I experienced the culinary delights in the Restaurant ( Diningroom ). I availed of the Value Menu (... More

Can't say enough about The Red Bank - great food (superb early bird menu) and excellent service. Okay it needs a little face lift but a pleasure to eat in! All good.

I have reviewed and rated this restaurant before but haven't been back in about 18 months, so when we did, we took advantage of the child certified meals and took friends visiting from England with us. I was disappointed. Good value, but the child menu invloves a smaller main course but everything else is the same, whereas ideally we would... More
