Have been to the Brass Lantern for Lunch and dinner several times in the past and always try to come back, because they have the best Fried Green Tomatoes. They didn't even have them on the menu any more. In fact, the whole experience was not up to par...except for the waitress...she was great! Ordered shrimp and steak (med. rare)... More

We were visiting family in Lawrenceburg and they took us to The Brass Lantern for dinner. I wasn't expecting much as this was a small town. I was floored. This food was fantastic. I had the blackened prime rib, it was cooked perfectly. They have a great salad bar too. My wife had their pasta primavera and it was some... More

They have some of the best chicken fingers around town. The prices are reasonable and it was one of the best restaurants I've been to in awhile... By far, actually. I'd go all the time if i was u

Went there for lunch recently with a friend. It was a Saturday and when we arrived around 1:00, the restaurant was packed. When we left around 2:00, it was still packed. I think that fact speaks well of what the restaurant has to offer. I had one of their entree salads and it was fresh and good. My friend had... More

Been there a couple of times when in the area on business. My steak was actually pretty darned excellent and broiled shrimp was okay. Decent salad bar. Friendly service. Will go there again.

We had not visited this restaurant for about a year due to the fact that we had issues either with the food or the service for about 3 visits in a row. We decided it was time to give it another chance. We were seated promptly and our server did take our order and bring drinks in a timely manner.... More

I guess they have so much business they don't mind losing a customer. Just on principle alone, I won't go.

This was recommended to us by the receptionist at the Richland Inn, and we were not disappointed. Service was fast, considering how full the place was for supper, and the meals tasty. Desserts were good, too. The parking area was packed, but we still found a place. The restaurant is a ways from downtown, but worth the drive.

So far I have only been there twice, and that was only for their meatloaf special to go! I honestly have never tasted a better meatloaf in my life. Their mashed potatoes are awesome, and they are the only place in town that I can find fried green tomatoes! The green beans are full of flavor and our wait in... More

My wife and I picked The Brass Lantern to visit for our 20th anniversary dinner. We aren't local to the area, but had heard good reviews. While the rest of the customers were given the favored treatment and talked to on a first name basis, while we sat ignored. No tea refills or concerns from the waitress. Dessert wasn't even... More
