The perfect place to get a picnic before walking the moors of Devon. A great selection of soup, home-made quiches etc they provided a good selection and the sticky toffee pudding can only be described as world class!

What a great find- Blacks draws you in with delicious smells of freshly baked bread, fantastic homemade quiches and soups, wonderful cakes and ground coffee...so warm and inviting on a cold winters day. The variety of produce is a treat! Well done Chris and Catherine for such a welcoming, charming deli...any trip to Chagford must include a visit to Blacks!

I live in Chagord so take away food to eat in my shop or at home at least 3 times a week. The bread, ham, pies etc are all to die for.....WARNING...do not go into or near this place if you are on a diet as the delicious items of great value and quality will be hard to walk away from!

Every day before heading for the hills, we stopped by Blacks to pick up baguettes for lunch. Great food. Pleasant owners. Easy location.

Great selection of freshly prepared food, locally sourced where possible. Lovely atmosphere and helpful friendly staff. In short a must visit when in Chagford.
