Come sit at the bar! Spacious bar with lots of tvs to watch sports. Also has great oyster specials and happy hour. Kitchen food is good as well.
I really wanted to give this a higher rating, but I just cant. I brought my wife here for a date night and I regret that decision. There was no wait on a Saturday night at 6:30, but there are other places I go that are underbooked but excellent. I ordered the 10oz beef tenderloin since I was in a... More
Our second trip and neither worthy of praise. The oysters are fresh and tasty but terribly small. The wedge salad was very good and that is everything positive I can say. The almond crusted trout was over cooked and served with no almonds on it. Accompanying risotto was very tasteless. Crab cakes were bland with minimal remoulade sauce and little... More
After considering some other "snootier" options, we had anniversary dinner on Sharky's patio. It proved to be a great decision. Good attentive service; we did get to ask chef John Bragg for his recommendations, and what came to the table may be the freshest fish we've been served in a non-coastal restaurant. The smoked tuna dip tasted really fresh; both... More
I enjoyed this restaurant on a trip through Memphis this summer. It was just across the parking lot from the Residence Inn and the hotel staff recommended it. I ordered dinner at the bar and the food came quickly with no complaints. Beer selection was good and even offered a local brew. Seems like a great place and definitely somewhere... More
I've been here a number of times because of the large patio and bar area. Food has always been overpriced and lack luster but I thought with the new chef that maybe it would be better... The crawfish beignet app was good. Could use a bit more spice but was overall good. My husband ordered the burger and I ordered... More
I think the intent is for Sharky's to be a fine dining seafood restaurant: white table cloths, expensive prices, known chef. Unfortunately it's not. Uninspired menu, small portions, Red Lobster quality hostess & wait staff, mish-mosh dull decor (what's with those huge captains chairs and high back windsor chairs!)TVs visible from dining room, etc. Is this a restaurant or hang-out... I'm glad I wasn't real hungry. 1st, the prices are indicative of a 5 star dining experience, which this wasn't. The salad greens were tough and bitter and the gumbo wasn't anything like a true Cajun Creole dish featuring mushy shrimp in a tomato base that didn't indicate a roux had ever been involved. Your money would be better spent... More
