We were disappointed that it was closed for Mother's day and we could not get a reservation. But, we did happen across the restaurant for lunch one day and the restaurant did live up to it excellent reputation. You will really enjoy your meal at this restaurant.

a short walk from our hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal here. Varied menu, server was pleasant, efficient, knowledgeable and prompt. Food was excellent (best biscuits we've ever had) and we could not recommend any higher. If you are in Memphis, please stop here!

I enjoyed the food at the restaurant. Very unique and it tasted great. I would say there service is a bit slow--they probably need to do some work on that.

When we saw the name of the restaurant we thought it might have an Irish menu. We arrived and took a look at the menu, we were pleasantly surprised. All of our meal selections were perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. We are not sure the type of cuisine that is offered but the menu was varied and creative.

If you are looking for a good restaurant in Memphis, stop looking any further, you have come to the right place. McEwen's on Monroe is an outstanding restaurant with great dishes and very stylish.
I took the Sweet potato crusted catfish and my gf the chickenbreast.....both really great. Complementary you can take local beer on draught or pick a selection...

We loved this place! They have lots of small plates on the menu as well as entrees. We opted to share 2 small plates and an appetizer and that was a great choice. We had fried oysters, short rib on sour dough and the crab tostada and they were all fantastic!

McEwen's is one of those places to carry you loved one for a night on the town. The last time we visited, the wife had a pecan encrusted fish. It was scrumptious.

Dinner at McEwen's was delicious. I had the scallops, DH had the pan seared ribeye. Both were perfect. After dinner we left the dining room and went to the bar to finish our evening. Nice beer and wine selection. We will definitely return again.

My family and I dined at McEwen's and it was a truly fantastic meal. My short-ribs on sour dough and crab tostada were top-notch.
