After years traveling the US, my wife and I pretty much lost faith in having decent fresh fish, cooked to the right point and with TASTE OF FISH. Not in Florida, neither in Massachusetts. Curiously Vegas and Dallas has been the places where I've had the best FRESH fish. So here it comes: Truluck's is the one and only place... More

The food is outstanding, featuring seafood but I enjoyed greatly the roasted chicken dish that evening. Nice bar and wine list. Has a distinctly 50s diner feel in the layout and design, but certainly much more sleek and far classier than that description would suggest. Service was very good with a knowledgable waiter ready with a recommendation upon request. Overall... More

Discovered the place while walking around uptown. Steak and seafood place with great variety. Sunday afternoon fully packed. Had a lobster soup - a bit spicy for me and grilled Chilean seabass with creamy spinach. Seabass was well cooked and tasty. Place is pricey. I was travelling on business so needed to watch my budget. Otherwise i would try some... More

Food is always exceptional, service is great, menu features sea food and steaks, other items on menu have always been good. I have gone back again and again.

If you like Crab legs Monday night at Trulucks is great (Insider secret if you ask you can get it most nights). No matter how many you can eat they just keep coming. Save some room for desert though the carrot cake is work a few less crab legs

This will be our "go to" place for dinner in Dallas. It is worth every penny! Management is simply outstanding and attentive, our food was fresh and fabulous and we couldn't have been more pleased.

Probably one of the top 20 meals that I've had in my life. We had the green and caesar salads to start with the red fish ponchartrain. All three were excellent. The only thing we could have asked for was that the mud vein should have been trimmed from the red fish before the fish was seared. The hit of... More

Two of us ate at Trulucks on Wednesday evening when they have a 1/2 price wine selection. My friend had a steak and I had scallops. Both prepared well. The service was attentive by a waiter named Eric. Food was good. I had previously eaten at the Houston Galleria area restaurant which is similar. One thing that this restaurant does... More

The South African lobster was awesome! The scallops were good but not amazing. The variety appetizer platter was very good. Make sure to leave room for desert. The "Chocolate Bag" was to die for. They work with Open Table for reservations.
