We were given this restaurant as a recommendation and the food was wonderful. Everyone was friendly but it looked like they were one person short for service. It was uneven and not what you would expect from this type of restaurant. If you can have some patience, this is a must go to in Fredericksburg.

We had a great dinner at the Nest. The service was very good. And the food was delicious. Our shrimp appetizer was absolutely wonderful. The steak and the chicken entree was delicious. We loved all the vegetables included with the main entree.

The Nest is small, located in an historic house. Service is good. The food is good with a changing, limited menu. Prices are high, but this is a place to go for a special celebration. I do not recommend taking children.
