My closest friend and I were in Fredericksburg for a girls weekend in honor of my 50th birthday. The only place I specifically asked to enjoy a meal at was the Peach Tree Tea Room. I have all three of the cookbooks which I use regularly and always visit the tea room when I'm in town. On this particular visit,... More

This charming tea room is well worth the visit. With all the good food in Fredericksburg, it is hard to choose where to eat. Let this be one of your choices when you just need a light meal. The sandwich and salad choices will please you. Just a block and a half off the main thoroughfare on S. Adams, it... More

I meet my grandmother here for high tea. We wore fancy hats and everything. The service was GREAT but the food was just average and pricey. I would not go back as there are a lot of other places to eat in Fredericksburg but this places was crowded so someone liked it more than me.

Great little place great food. The server was nice but forgot about something I asked for which happened at pretty much every place we ate. But the food was great and the atmosphere was cute. Great place for our last lunch in town. Try the pimento cheese sandwich! Delish!

We stopped here for lunch on a day trip from San Antonio. The bread basket was delicious. I could have just eaten that and been completely satisfied.

We went to the Peach Tree based on someone's high recommendations. We had a party of 12 so understand there would be a wait. We arrived at 11:45 and were told it would be a 20 - 25 minute wait. No problem. It took 50 minutes before we were seated and then we were put at 2 different tables. Not... More

I have been going to The Peach Tree since it opened its doors in the 70s. It has not changed in delighting! The tearoom specializes in sandwiches, quiche, and soups! The pimento cheese is fabulous, as is their chicken salad! And their quiche is hard to beat! Daily soups are prepared to perfection! And leave room for desserts! Many of... More

This is off main but not far, at first it is hard to determine that it is a restaurant as it is also a nice gift shop, we had lunch sandwiches and good tea..all good

All elements that matter in an enjoyable dining experience are top drawer here: Ambience; Food Offering and Quality; Service; Price. (The fifth is one's dining companion, always best in the world for me!) Rhonda is an especially professional, personable server; Steve, one of the "Greeters" is positively perfect. All there plainly care. Our favorite table is #35. (If you return... More

Next time you go shopping in Fredericksburg, Texas, take a side street to lunch at Peach Tree. So relaxing, such good staff and food is great. I love the quiche whenever they make it. Crust is flaky. Not a touristy place, just wonderful...with shopping too!
