We picked this restaurant base on TripAdvisor reviews. Go hungry because there is plenty of food served family style. We split an order of fried chicken which after having salad and biscuits and all the sides was plenty of food. Our server was friendly and efficient. Quite a few people we celebrating birthdays and they put a chicken head and... More

The name is right, the chicken dinner is awesome. They bring you salad and biscuits before you order. Order the chicken, comes with great southern sides (green beans, cream-style corn, and mashed potatoes with gravy), then sit back and eat till you're stuffed. Sorghum and honey are on the table to go with your biscuits when you're done with the... More

Our family ate here during a visit to Frisco. The food was good. The veggies along with the chicken were good but over priced. Our family tried a variety of the desserts. We liked the chocolate pie. Our service was not the greatest. The waitress kept forgetting our drinks.

It is the best of it's kind because it's authentically local, truly tasty, it doesn't take a long time and it doesn't cost much. The atmosphere borders on being a tad too atmosphere-y for me - if you like kitschy, this is for you. That aside, the food is simple, bountiful, well-prepared, satisfying and can be had for a song... The waitresses will sing and dance for you. Environment reminds me of restaurants back home. Food is incredible! A must-see if you are visiting the DFW area

Had dinner at Babe's with 2 children, aged 4 1/2 and 2 1/2. It's family style -- all the mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, rolls and salad you can eat. The fried chicken dinner is 4 pieces - breast, leg, thigh and wing -- more than plenty and delicious! My husband had the chicken fried steak, and said that was... More

This is not a fine dining experience and doesn't even try to be. What you get is good, wholesome, traditional country cookin with all the trimmings. The wait staff is friendly and professional, constantly offering refills of food and beverages. Skip the salad which is merely iceberg lettuce with some type of awfully sweet dressing. The fried chicken & pot... More

Have been there several times food and service both excellent.service is super fast and fresh. It takes you back to your childhood and Sunday lunch with the family that your grandmother spent all day cooking!

Interesting place. Good for kids. Barn-like atmosphere with antique tractors and fake chickens along the walls. Inside really does look like the interior of a barn with wood and beams etc. I had chicken tenders which were awesome. Food comes super fast and is plentiful. Sides of salad with a sweet vinaigrette dressing, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans and scones... More
