The mimosas were great, but the food was average. Would have liked to see dishes they are known for, and the food could have been warmer.

This is an interesting restaurant that seems to get a lot of very high ratings. First, we entered the parking lot and noticed that it had complimentary valet parking. Most of the parking spaces close to the restaurant were taken by the cones from the valet parking service. Seems like a lot of people skipped the valet and parked in... More

Had a lunch on a Wednesday and the place was slammed. I picked the lunch special (pork tacos)...excellent!!! I typically judge a Mexican restaurant by the quality of the chips and salsa and they were fabulous. Lunch for two with no alcohol was $40!!! Great value and I highly recommend this place!!! Authentic no...but dang good!!!

My shrimp quesadillas were excellent and a very good value. The waiter was outstanding. This should be a Las Colinas favorite for everyone.

We attended a grooms dinner at Via Real and I was very excited to try this place after all the great reviews. Let me start by saying I am not vegetarian but the bride and groom are so we all ordered meatless meals. If this is how all vegetarian meals taste I would give up meat today( and I grew... More

If you are the north Dallas area, this is the place for delicious Mexican food. Located in a stand-along building, the facility is warm and inviting. Candles, a wood smoker and warm decor greet you upon arrival. From the host, to our server, bus staff, and bartender, each was efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. I ordered the Sea Bass...best I have... More

We ate at this location with a large group. The service was very good and there was a great variety of food selections. Everything had a Mexican theme, but very tasty. I had the Salmon and my wife the filet. Both were great and filling. Our group also tried the queso and the appetizer platter. By the time our meal... More

Had dinner with a group of colleagues here on a Thursday night. The place was packed. It's got a great atmosphere for a business or romantic occasion, although I would not classify this as a necessarily "quiet" restaurant. The wait staff was friendly, and attentive enough, but not particularly helpful. I felt like when I asked for recommendations the waiter... More

Excellent service and great food on a Sunday evening. After indulging next door at the Four Seasons for a wedding weekend (not ours) we were looking for something easy and casual. The Via Real was it. Great food, excellent service and fine hosting. Upon entering we were seated at a small table that was a bit to small for the... More

My wife and I went to Via Real recently for dinner. The restaurant is located very close to the Four Reasons resort in Las Colinas section of Irving. The restaurant is large with multiple seating areas including bar area. The menu is high-end Tex-Mex. The queso is average - not too much flavor. I had the surf and turf and... More
