Coming back from West Texas, we needed to stop for some food. BBQ is always wanted so we stopped at Coopers. Food was avg. at best and is crazy priced. All BBQ has gotten expensive but a 1 meat plate with 2 out of a box sides was $11.99. To top it off, we were charged for each slice of... More

I have stopped here on many occasions and the food has always been good, but this time was not the norm. The meat was dry and tough and the sides seemed to lack their usual flavor. We were disappointed and may just stop at McDonald's across the road the next time

This is a gem of a find right off Interstate 10! Driving for 8 hours eastbound, we see the sign -gas and Coopers BBQ. We take exit for Junction, TX turn left there it is. Plenty of parking especially for trucks & trailers. Cute cozy place with delicious BBQ. This is way far better than place in Llano. Sides are... More

I have had BBQ from all over the state of Texas, and Cooper's takes the award for the worst I have ever tasted. The brisket was tough and dry and the sausage was cold. The sauce tasted like warm watery ketchup with vinegar. The coleslaw and beans were mediocre at best. All of this put me back $17.00. At least... More

Over-cooked and over-priced! The only thing this place has going for it is location. Save some money and get some much better BBQ by going to Lum's...two minutes away at 2031 Main St.

Cooper's must rely on it's great location (right across the street from McDonald's) for new customers. It is set up cafeteria style. We had the turkey, cold slaw, and beans. (You can get potato salad instead of cold slaw) and blackberry cobbler. Our food was fine. But Cooper's has the only bar-b-que sauce in Texas that is thin, faintly vinegary... More

First time here and not impressed at all. I thought it was overpriced and didn't even taste good. Not many choices for side items either. I had the brisket, sausage, beans and potato salad. The bbq sauce wasn't any better. I would skip it altogether and find somewhere else to eat.

On our way to West Texas last weekend we stopped at Cooper's for a pit stop and lunch. Clean restrooms and good food. Lots for old memorabilia on the walls. Celebratory pictures as well. Two sliced brisket sandwiches, two beans, one potato salad, water, and tea was $20.99. Lots of other varieties of BBQ available. On our way back home... More

Ever since I ate at the Coopers in Junction many years ago, I've bragged about it, and took people there to show it off!? No More!! My wife and I traveled up I-10 way past the time that we were wanting to eat, just so we could eat at the famous place we loved to go to! When we came... More

We drive through Junction several times a year and actually try to time our trips for a stop at Coopers. I've probably eaten here 20 times over the llast few years. Their BBQ was really good. We did the same this weekend (we were staying the weekend at Llano River State Park), made it to Coopers for an early dinner... More
