Picantes must be known for the humongous burritos. The carnage asada is our favorite. Their enchiladas are another favorite. This is authenic Mexican food. Service is fast. Prices are in line with other Mexican food places in town. Staff is attentive and friendly.

I am from San Antonio and this is very different from what I am used to. I did not care for the food at all. The enchiladas are either red or green sauce. Flour tortillas are not homemade as pointed out by the waitress. I would not recommend this restaurant.

the dishes are different to what i am used to eat. The food that they serve is from Michoacan and seems they use different spices, it was a good meal, the best was the Mexican soda.... Coca cola or manzana.

Jamie has created the most satisfying plate of food: eggs (cooked to order), skillet style potatoes, refried beans, and your choice of meat, all served with warm fresh tortillas on the side so you can build your own burritos....yum! Oh, don't forget the chips and salsa.
