This place came highly recommended to us by a friend in Madrid, so maybe we just caught them on an off night. Food was good, not great, and service not very friendly or helpful.

My least favorite meat during three week holiday in Spain. Arrived at the restaurant a 22:00 and it was empty until we left at midnight and this was a Friday night. We had the "Gastronomique menu" which we found expensive for the quality we received. Service was inpersonal and unfriendly ...not rude, just not friendly and cold.

Restaurant belongs to the Hotel Spa la casa del rector and has the same friendly and helpful staff. Food was astonishing and excellent. learned a lot about local cuisine which is seasonal and regional. Try all forms of the local eggplant, as salad, main dish, side dish and even sweet. D'ont eat too much of it as it might prove...
