we enjoyed a lovely tapa and guinness as part of salou's "GastroTour" where 65 restaurants/pubs offered up a month (May) of tapas sample and beverage for 2.5 euro. guinness tavern's offering was VERY yummy and, of course, the guinness was divine!

Lovely bar/restaurant for a meal. Very friendly staff who interact with the customers, lots of friendly banter. Good quality food, but get there early in the evening as this restaurant will be busy & as we found out may not have all of what is on the menu for you to choose from! It's also a little bit more expensive...

food was simple but prepared well and service was very good. Waiters were genuinely friendly and although the restaurant was very busy they were calm composed and happy to help. Best restaurant by far we have seen.
Had food there three nights. couldn't fault any bit of it. The staff where so helpful, kind and the food came out so fast. Food was just gorgeous. Highly recommended to go there.
Found this excellent restaurant on our second day on holiday in Salou. Did not eat dinner anywhere else during our one week stay. Food absolutely delicious. Wide variety of starters, main courses and desserts to chose from. Everything tried from the menu tasted fab and in particular, my husband loved the shepherd's pie and the chicken wraps. Portions were large...

Excellent restaurant this was our second year to return. Food superb, atmosphere brilliant. Run by a husband and wife and hats off to them they have a great enterprise here. Recommended the place to everybody we met on holidays.
The name of this suggests pub grub. But when you read the reviews and get sat down, you will be pleasantly surprised with the quality. The owner from Cobh (Declan?) is top class, interested in everyone and ensures top quality food is produced. Shepherds pie the best I have ever tasted, lovely desserts also. Bit off beaten track but worth...

Just back from a week in salou and the Guinness Tavern was one of the highlights of our holiday. The food is outstanding a great choice and caters very well for children especially for my 1 year old who loved the mash in their baby bowls. On our first night eating there after we finished our starters I realised I...

It's very good to walk beyond tourist area. This place looks like next door bar. Barkeeper and his waiteress' are very hospitable. You took your kids here? No problem! Here is paper and pencils. Meal is very good! Guiness here is absolutely original. Sitting here under the pine with good meal is a good evening after long day on beach.
The pub food category is fairly crowded in Salou and for me this was the best of them. Good variety on the menu, quality was good and the service friendly and efficient. Its a bit tucked away but worth looking out for.
