Great food, love the atmosphere. They serve anything from burgers (the best)to shrimp and prime rib. Be sure to checkout their nightly specials.
This place doesn't look like much, and it's worse on the inside than the outside. BUT the food is dang good, and reasonably priced. BUT it's got the bar thing going on too, so especially if you go at night, there could be some smoke or whatever (we go at lunch). Some of the locals told me this is where... More
What can I say....this meal was outstanding and only $13.99!!! Go early as they do sell out. You get a salad, large slice of prime rib, and twice baked potato.
The Hampton Inn hotel receptionist recommended Kody's and it was a good catch. The food is based on your regular diner menu, but the quality is excellent and you will not leave hungry. The decor is also a bit basic, but has it's charm. The staff are friendly and the beer is good. Well with a visit after a long... More
We stopped in for a late-night dinner, and were impressed with the staffs' friendly and quick service. We tried the garlic mahi mahi, which was good but a little heavy for so late. One of the best places I have eaten on the island! We ate at one of the big nice restaurants on the water the night before going to Kody's, and there was no comparison. There were 7 in our party, and everything we got was delicious!
The food here is really not too bad, but the setup is kind of strange. I went three times and didn't get utensils and the waitress never came back to check on us. A local later told me that the utensils are by the drink fountain. This is kind of a self serve place and not a great date restaurant.
After reading many reviews we chose Kody's. All I can really say is stick to what is reccomended. I would go with the burgers or some of the grilled and broiled fish dinners or something fried. Our food was horrible but everyone elses was great. Burgers were great and their specialty items like anything sauteed or broiled (the items served... More
On the advice of our lodge owners, we tried Kody's on a busy Saturday night. Despite the wait, the food lived up to its recommendation. We didn't go outside the norm (fried shrimp and shrimp), except for the fried asparagus spears, which were heavenly. The prices are moderate and with the quality of the food, it is a great deal.They... More
