Located directly across the parking lot from our hotel, this was a good choice for dinner before a AAA ball game. We split an order of fajitas and some chips with queso ... all more than enough. Highly recommended.

My husband loves this place and their food. Im not a huge fan myself. I never know what to order because i don't feel like i have many options here. The lines are always very long and service for me usually seems to be a bit long.
Chuy's has been feeding me since 1983. Other than the long waits, you can't go wrong. Two kinds of salsa, creamy jalapeno dip (FREE), the best shrimp rellenos, their deluxe tomatillo sauce is the bomb, their chickien is white meat shredded, not pink disgusting leftover crap other restaurants serve. Try the Elvis Platter if you're hungry. Kids meals all come...

If you have never been to Chuys them you are missing good solid authentic Tex Mex! The food is excellent, the servings are plentiful and the service is top notch! Get you a "Keep Austin Weird" shirt for memories, I did!
Chuy's is a local (but growing!) chain, and I think all of them offer the same great atmosphere and food, I just happened to click on this one for a review since I probably go to this location most often. As other people have mentioned - DO ask for the creamy jalepeno dip upon being seated. In fact - there...

Stayed at hotel near by. Had to wait 45 minutes on a Saturday night at 7PM. Good food...too much noise to carry on a conversation. Obviously they have big crowds all the time..very organized
Sooooooooooooooooooo good and super fresh. Try any thing it's all excellent. Chuychanga yes. Enchiladas yes
Some friends and I are ere on a busy Friday night, the wait was a bit long but totally worth it. The service and food were impeccable. I visit other Chuy's restaurants every time I get the chance. Don't miss out - ask for the jalapeño ranch dip!
I love Chuy's. I grew up in the Southwest, and ate (Americanized) Mexican food all through growing up, so I know it well. Having just moved to the area, we've eaten at two Chuy's and another Mexican restaurant, and Chuy's is superior in every way.
The chips--you can't do any better than fresh made tortilla chips. The salsa is fresh...

Excellent Tex Mex restaurant. The service was wonderful and the food exceeded my expectations. Keep in mind this is a very popular eating establishment so be prepared to wait or a seat. It's worth the wait though.
