I'd been wanting a Gyro for a couple of days, so I looked online for a local eatery that served Gyros and found D's Mediterranean Grill. The staff was friendly and the place was clean and comfortable. I ordered a 'Gyro Sandwich Wrap' (with fries and a drink for an extra $2) and a side order of Stuffed Grape Leaves.... More

Being originally from the island of Cyprus, I think I can speak with authority about how authentic the food is at D's. It's not much to look at from the outside but once inside, the warm family atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Everything tastes great and the owners frequently come round to check on their customers. Their gyro... More

Good, not special gyros and Greek / Middle Eastern offerings. Very slow service eat in and take out. KFC atmosphere, ie, no atmosphere. Pricey compared to similar places in Austin or Round Rick area (that gave much larger menu)

Small Greek Restaurant in a somewhat rundown neighborhood. Hours are Monday - Saturday 11:00 am - 8:00 pm, closed on Sunday. Very clean inside. Ordered at the front counter and sat down. They brought the food out in about 20 minutes. It was all prepared as it was ordered except the deserts for obvious reasons. Food was good. Liked the... More

We went here based on reviews here and I have to say we were disappointed. The neighborhood reminds me of where I grew up in Tampa so that wasn't a problem for us. We got salads and gyros. The salads were good but the gyros were awful. They were doughy and had no real flavor. They did not taste fresh... More

This is home owned, very clean and great Greek food. Don't let the neighborhood scare you away -it is safe to go at night. They will advise you on the dishes to order.

Each time I go to this food establishment, I am amazed to how well the food tastes. This is a one of a kind eatery in Waco. The food always tastes fresh and the service is wonderful. I will continue to be a customer.

Dropping off our firstborn at Baylor is proving to be a heart-wrenching experience. In order to eke out a bit more time, we decided to eat together the night before she moves into her dorm. Driving through a sketchy neighborhood, we felt sure we must be lost until we practically ran into the place. What wonderful food. I'm a sucker... More

When you drive up it looks questionable but when you are fed by the family that owns and operates it you forget about the ambiance. The food is fresh and cooked perfectly. Very authentic. Muh better than going to a chain.
