We were in Park City for along ski weekend and decided to give Talisker a try. Honestly we had read mixed things about it (expensive, menu odd, etc). Having walked by it a few times while hanging out downtown it looked small but very invited. On a whim I called to see if they could fit two of us in... More

The food here is constantly inventive and then reinvented. The service is also consistently excellent without the attitude you find in some comparable restaurants. Thank goodness for Talisker on Main for taking away the monotony of dining out in Park City.

The food was good - but in my opinion not worthy of the best restaurant in Park City rating that it has received. Our waitress must have been fairly new on the job because when we asked for details on one of the dishes - what she described and what was served were very different. No apologies from her when... The dining highlight of my recent Park City visit was definitely the Chef's Tasting meal at Talisker on Main. My son and I share a love of good food and wine, and he decided to take me there for a special night out. It was amazing! Highly recommend the Chef's Tasting if you're a foodie- our six courses included turnip... More

WOW, I have no idea what these other reviewers are thinking, or experienced! We dined there last night, and everything was TERRIFIC! I had the local greens, with grains, and it was so fresh and delicious. My husband's scallops were perfect! We both had the tenderloin, which was perfect. My husband couldn't even finish his meal, the portions were so... More

This is a "foodie" restaurant where the chef is as much interested in amusing himself as he is satisfying the customer. The favors offered are very creative involving combinations that are unexpected and often interesting but not memorable. The dining room is very inappropriate for this kind of thoughtful, experimental cuisine. Tables and chairs are crammed together erasing any feeling... More

This restaurant is so intimate and pretty, it is simply delicious. The food is top notch with a limited and sophisticated selection. The restaurant is kind to children but please get a sitter for the night. The tables are too close-quarters and the food is too sophisticated for all but the most mature and foodie of children. I am not... More

We had dinner in the "library" in 2012. Great service, great food, great ambiance. This year sucked. We had requested a table in either the library or the wine room when making reservations several months ago. Neither option was granted, and we were seated in the middle of the first floor. Noisy. Crowded. No ambiance. The waiter arrived, treated us... More

Dined at Talisker last evening. Loved the ambiance, especially liked the open view of the kitchen. The service was perfectly fine but the menu was extremely limited and the food itself was average at best. A couple of the courses were good, however the fish course was simply terrible in terms of taste and preparation. We found the prices way out... More
