I used to frequent MJ's in the early 90s. The coffee specialties was good then and I was pleasantly suprised when I stopped in today while in Brat. The decor was perfectly befitting a coffee cafe. Good variety of sweets and I got a med. mochaccino which was modestly priced at $3.50 with tax. Took me back twenty years! Still... More

In the lower level, not what you would expect, but the coffee and service is outstanding. Very small but this adds to the character. Coffee is fresh, fresh, fresh.

Okay so this is definitely an independent rebel coffee cafe served up with a side of attitude. Not the best coffee drinks I've had but it was a place that caught my interest. Maybe I'm not familiar with Brattleboro but it was fun to watch all the people coming in with cool tattoos and peircings and dread locks at the... More

These guys take a lot of pride in their coffee. They make a mean cup and have a wide variety of whole beans you can purchase by the pound as well as loose teas. Very cool independent coffee shop.

I have been traveling to Brattleboro and surrounding areas for the past 11 years and have never had coffee this good anywhere else. On several (if not more) I have actually gotten up early Saturday morning and driven to Mocha Joe's to have their coffee. I live in Queens, NY and traveling to VT to have a cup of coffee... More

A very cute coffee shop right on the main drag of downtown Brattleboro. Good coffee and tea. Pleasant service. A bit claustrophobic due to its small size and it was crowded when were were there (and freezing outside so no one was on the sidewalk) But all and all a good place to grab a cup of joe.

Mocha Joes has become a regular place to come every time I am in Brattleboro. I almost always have jasmine or jade green tea and it always loose leaf and bagged to order and is always wonderful. My sister always order a dark roast or a latte and she is never disappointed by the quality or the taste. I love... More
