Good home style restaurant. A bit pricy for the food. Pancake was cake-like, but the real maple syrup makes it really good. Steak and egg breakfast, steak was fair. Felt like I was at grandmas. But sat by the window and had great view of Okemo.

Ate two lunches at the Hatchery. Waitress was very good- attentive and friendly with out over doing it. They had creative sandwhiches with home made bread. More salad and vegetable options than the typical lunch place. Try the roasted veggie sandwhich on multigrain bread. Yumm!

We visited the Hatchery during a summer trip to Ludlow. As a VT native, I am all too familiar with the tourist trap breakfast joint, and could see this place falling into that genre. That being said, we went here on our way out of town. We had our dog with us because we had checked out of our rental,... More

This is a great little local place for breakfast. It is reasonably priced with good food and pleasant service. I like the fact that isn't "affected". Its just a great little place to grab a good breakfast.

Overpriced disappointed! $45 for 2 adults and a two year old to have pancakes, an omelette , cup of soup and chef salad. Flavorless omelette filled with long stringy raw onions. Tomato soup was more broth like with chunks of cheddar cheese and the chef salad was missing the salad and consisted of extremely salty shredded lunch meat and cheese.... More

We often stop at The Hatchery on our way home from skiing. We are never disappointed. Breakfast comes out quickly, is always good and at a reasonable price.

It's a hole in the wall but some of the best food you can find come from hole in the walls. We stopped in for lunch and had some delicious sandwiches. The place is not much to look at inside, cold and the service was OK. The food was very good and we left full plus content. Can't ask for... More

We ate breakfast there twice during a recent trip to Ludlow. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. We had eggs with toast which were good but not special. Their homemade muffins were delicious, however. Unfortunately, the coffee was a bit weak for our taste.
